Max and Maria
our two cute rabbits
live in their home
within the kids' room
up very early
they wait for us to rise
to get their daily salad
and may be something nice
they venture out into the room
only when the coast is clear
to sniff and perhaps nibble
at little teddy's ear
they chase each other sometimes
and make a lot of noise
makes me wonder if they are compatible
or are generally being nice
wonder if they really like
each others company
or are just resigned
to a life of sad destiny!!
For max and maria are together
as we picked them to make a pair
without their true consent
Hope they don't despair!!
