Swiss winters are special.. for me just walking along to work with the snow flakes twirling around me is a heart lifting experience. White covered houses, streets, trees and the snow hanging on to every possible space possible offers unique sights which get even more special as the icicles formed by the melting snow appear.
Little kids in snow suits and sledges, squealing with delight as they come speeding down the snowly slopes or throw snow balls at each other... make you stop and want to join the fun!! Well yesterday we did just that as we decided to go up to the mountains and have a roll in the snow..quite literally.
The lofty snow covered peaks, the pines covered with snow and the vast stretches of white covered landscape.. pristine and stark beauty that nature unfolds. sledging down the snowny slopes makes me feel about 5 years old. Was great fun..
