Lifes threads..joining various incidents of my life.. triggering of memories!!
Mornings are peak activity at home, I could swear the clock actually moves faster at this time of the day!! Even more when I turn off the alarm promising myself a few minutes of self indulgence..that turns out longer than planned!!! One such morning my daughter was asking me about brands of soaps that are blue.. just one of those silly questions that she will shoot out of the blue!! from time to time.. That irritates me purely by being so disjointed and unconnected to the current scenario!! but never fail to get me thinking about an answer..This time the first thing that came to my mind was..'Bhala aapkee kameez mere kameez se safed kaisi?' the answer of course is a flash of lightening and SUPER RIN sprayed across the screen!!
All of a sudden I remembered Mrs Seriah, our neighbour in Nagpur who had a white pomenarian called RUBY. Mrs Seriah was often seen grooming and washing her dog with..you guessed right..Super Rin!! We had our own Pom too called Misty and of course he was bathed with a sachet of shampoo by my sister and myself!!
One lazy evening, Aarti, my sis and I were walking Misy and we encountered Mrs Seriah outside her compound with Ruby running aroung friskily.. Both dogs exchanges sniffs at various bodily locations while we were polite onlookers. Suddenly Aarti blurted out..
Bhala aapka kutha hamare kutte se safed kaise..SUPER RIN ki chamkar!!! and we all burst out laughing..Except Mrs Seriah who did'nt take so lightly our covert observations of her scrubbing sessions with Ruby!!!
