The vierwaldstadtsee.. looks like any other Swiss lake untill you start to take the cog rail up Mt Rigi.. Then you see what appeared like an ordinary lake is a gigantic body of water with a very characteristic emerald green colour, dipping in and out and curving gracefully into and out of the little dorfs (villages) lining it and encompassing four (vier) forests (wald) and cantons (stadt) in Switzerland!!!
Makes me think, everything in life too, looks clearer and more beautiful when you view it from a distance.. may be even in a more detached way!!
