Sheer sheets of fluffy white
stretched across the mountains and valleys
twinking like diamonds with the passing light
heaped on the side of roads and alleys
Lights shining out of warm little houses
casting inviting shadows outside
reflected on the glassy surface of the lake
and the dangling daggers of ice..
a hot coffee by the roadside cafe
a warm cake beside
looking out at this wonderful white
is even nicer from the warm inside!!!
