Spring is here

such joy to wake up to chirping birds
with an eagerness to peer out of the window
to see them battling across the lawn
carrying titbits for their new homes

to see the blooms alive and filled with colour
with promises of more to come
shrubs laden with pink blossom
just pausing a moment before the burst...

spring is definately here .. at last!!
