Some find love and keep love others find love and lose it some long for what was once while scores walk by unaware and untouched...

Love is not finders keepers Love finds you, you don't Some are lucky that it stays Some are unlucky that it flees But nobody remains untouched By Aphrodite's influence.
however shortlived, however fatalistic, however painful...love has a strange way of finding its followers...also its detractors.
we all sit and either deny its existence or rationalise it for the rest of our lives but what we cant do anything about is the surge of emotion within.
"Nobody remains untouched" I thought about it and tried to find a single person whom I have met who has never seen love in one form or the other and I failed!
I was thinking of any kind of love. However, I have to say about romantic love, somehow at some point in a person's life but they choose not to be touched by it, as their priorities are different. But yet I would say, love finds you and if it stays with you then I guess love was able to dodge everything else in that person's life.
Eroteme.. Is it better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Have you read Prophet by Khalil Gibran, the chapter on love is truly timeless and exceptional. http://www.columbia.edu/~gm84/gibtable.html

Actually, when I wrote this, I did think of a few people that have been quite untouched.. some by choice and some by chance..
Not by any kind of love! What do you define love as or what kind of love are you talking about?
I am talking about romantic love..
you made me realise, its better to have not been left untouched, even if you do never get what you are longing for. thanks :)
Ricercar.. In the wards of Khalil Gibran... yes, its true!

Pilgrim.. Yes, its not an emotion of convenience.. but it does catch you unawares..
Exactly! So true
As cynical as I may get, its nice that they passed by unaware. Why see tender love wasted on them? That would be far more tragic...
